Revival w/ Pastor bob montoya
After a long wait, we were able to finally have a full revival with Pastor Bob Montoya. We were able to see notable miracles in healing, as well as timely words given. Our congregations is truly refreshed afterwards. We are excited about what God is doing here in Alhambra and we're looking forward to what God is going to do in the future!
Concert with "The zeros"
After a winter hiatus, we were able to start our summer concert series with one of our favorite guest bands, 'The Zeros'. They were able to perform outside in the parking lot, while the church handed out snacks and drinks and invited anyone who happened by to church. As always, they delivered some great music and testimonies, and we are able to see several souls pray the sinner's prayer before the evening was over.
Revival w/ Evangelist CAstAnon
We just finished an excellent revival with visiting Evangelist Paul Castanon from The Door, Tempe. We had an excellent time with new converts coming in and answering the call to salvation, as well as notable healings. On Tuesday night, the evangelist preached an excellent sermon on 'The History of the Holy Spirit' and afterwards prayed for those who wanted to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Several answered the call and were filled, praise God! We appreciate Evangelist Castanon and his ministry in our church.
House Band Patio Concert
This past weekend we once again opened up our church patio to have a patio concert. We were able to take advantage of the excellent weather. In a first for our church, we had a full band from our own church! We broke out the electric guitars and amps, and were able to turn it up from our past acoustic concerts. We had a great time, and saw several visitors come out to hear the music. It was a wonderful time where we were able to see growth from church members and a celebration of using our talents for God. May God continue to give opportunities to minister the gospel outside the four walls of the church.
Trunk or Treat
In order to serve our community we had a Covid-Safe Trunk or Treat Party in the church parking lot for Halloween. We had a fantastic time: We had a line of cars participate with full size candy bars for the kids, and hot coffee for the adults! As we passed out candy we witnessed to the families and invited them out to church. Over 80 kids came through; we had a great time as a church eating candy, drinking coffee, and throwing a football around. A big thanks to everyone who came and helped!
revival services with pastor Bob Montoya
Pastor Bob Montoya was able to come in for special services before Prescott Conference. We have two Holy Ghost filled services with messages on the importance of coming to church, and the power of the altar call. Our church was powerfully impacted by both services - We appreciate Pastor Montoya's ministry!
SPring Concert Series
We have kicked off our Summer Patio Concert Series this outreach season, with visiting bands ‘The Zeros’, ' STEEP' and yours truly: 'Antidote'. As usual, the bands from our fellowship were excellent. Their music and lyrics are inspired and holds the message that Jesus is the answer! We saw several visitors and people made decisions for Christ. We will be having monthly patio concerts throughout the outreach season – come on out and enjoy some great music and meet new people!
revival service with pastor fred rubi
We had an excellent service with Pastor Fred Rubi from London. Pastor Rubi is the pastor of a leadership fellowship church in London, England. After doughnuts and coffee, We had a worship service and Pastor Rubi ministered on ‘Sharing Jesus’. God has given all of us an ability to ‘give a reason for the joy within us’! It was a powerful sermon that has already shown fruit in our church. We thank Pastor Rubi for his ministry and the lasting impact that he made.
Revival with pastor Ed kidwell
Our church has just completed an amazing revival with Pastor and Missionary Ed Kidwell. Pastor Kidwell delivered timely messages to our congregation – Revival started with a sermon on healing, and we saw several members healed in our Sunday morning service. He also played special music, including some Thai worship songs, with words no one understood, but they do sound familiar…
With additional messages on the Holy Spirit, Vision, Spiritual Warfare, and God’s Hyperboles, we have been revived and are ready to see what God has for us!
tucson impact team and concert
Last Saturday we had impact teams from Maryvale, Peoria, and Tucson come help evangelize with a park concert in the evening. The help from our neighbor churches was incredibly encouraging and we were able to see three souls saved in the morning outreach!
Tucson’s A & Ω University of Arizona bible study group stayed the whole day and even helped paint our church to get ready for our revival.
A & Ω brought their band ‘David Ate The Show Bread’ to minister in the park. We were the ONLY people in the park at 5:30, but the park quickly began to fill, and eventually there was easily a hundred of people milling about. ‘David Ate The Show Bread’ was in a word, awesome: a mix of folk and freestyle funk would be the best description, but they definitely had their own style.
We had an excellent response from our community throughout the day. Continue to pray for us here in the Alhambra neighborhood as we reach our community for Jesus!
